Recently while opening a marketing list record inside Dynamics 365, we got the below issue.
The issue was because we had multiple marketing list forms and the one the user had accessed last had all the security roles removed from it.
Enabling the security role that user had, for that particular form fixed the issue.

Hello, same error happens with one of our users, while she is trying to open the client from opportunity record. I followed your steps and made sure the form is enabled for this security role, but it still gives issues. Is business unit a possible obstacle? The user trying to view a client owned by a user form a different BU. Although read and write access on client are open on organization level for this specific security role. Having the same error on my company implementation, the problem was in using the browser EDGE, after changing to Internet Explorer or Chrome the problem no longer exist. It seems that using the EDGE with Dynamics 365 has some unexpected behaviors.
